The Earth Harp stage beneath sculptural sails at a festival at dusk

Festivals

An art installation the whole festival plays

By day it’s a giant sculpture people walk under, photograph and share. At night it comes alive as a live concert. Art and music in one booking, for music and arts festivals around the world.

Lightning in a Bottle

The sound

Wild, beautiful and built to move a crowd

The Earth Harp’s huge, cello-deep strings lead a modern live show: big percussion, electric guitar, heavy bass and beats, with violin, voice and more live instruments.

The music connects classical roots with EDM and rock. It’s epic, emotional and made to dance to. William also shares the strings with other performers, turning the harp into a duet the whole crowd can watch.

Festival formats

One big set, or all weekend long

01

Headline set

A full Earth Harp Collective concert on a main or second stage.

02

All-festival installation

The harp stays up all festival as an art piece, with shorter sets through the day and night. At LA’s Night on Broadway, William played every hour for about 20 minutes.

03

Main stage moment

Strings run to the main stage for a special performance or a guest spot. At Lightning in a Bottle 2016, David Satori of Beats Antique joined the set.

Planning your site

What we need from your festival

We handle the rigging and provide a safety plan for your production and site teams to review.

  • Stage space. Room for the Earth Harp on a satellite stage, beside the main stage or on its own stage.
  • An anchor point. The main stage roof, a truss tower in the crowd or another structure that can take the string load.
  • Power and sound. Stage power, plus a sound feed or our own system, depending on the setup.
  • Install time. Time on site before gates open to rig and tune the strings.
  • Production team. Our crew works with your stage manager, riggers and site team.
  • Weather plan. A wind and rain plan agreed in advance with your production team.
